Randall K. Minas

Randall K. Minas was first appointed to the Indiana State University Board of Trustees in 2008. He earned his undergraduate degree in management from Indiana State University in 1975, graduating cum laude. Trustee Minas, a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), serves as director/investments at Stifel, a wealth management and investment banking firm. Through a gift from their foundation, Trustee Minas and his wife endowed the Randall and Nancy Minas Center for Investment and Financial Education in the Scott College of Business at ISU.  As part of that gift, the couple stipulated the University's student investment club be involved in the growth and administration of their endowment, providing valuable experiential learning opportunities for future students. Trustee Minas has been instrumental in mentoring area high school students interested in finance careers and speaks regularly to classes and groups at Indiana State. He also served as Softball Coach for Culver Girls Academy for many years. He is a past chair of the Board of Trustees and has also served as vice chair, assistant secretary and chair of the Finance Committee. He also serves on the Indiana State University Foundation Board and is a past chair and member of its Investment Committee. He received Indiana State’s Distinguished Alumni Award in 2008.
