How to Apply

Eligibility

Summer Honors 2024 is open to high school students (both in-state and out-of-state) in the graduating classes of 2025, and 2026.

High school students must have a “B” average or higher in order to be eligible for the Summer Honors Program.

Note: Students who have not attained a 3.0 cumulative GPA are still encouraged to apply and may be accepted with a strong recommendation on a space-available basis. Students who have completed their senior year are not eligible to attend. International/Non-Citizens are not eligible to attend.

Application Process

Students interested in attending Summer Honors 2024 should follow these simple steps:

  • Apply online. The application for Summer Honors 2024 is available online for all eligible students. The last day to apply is June 7, 2024.
  • Submit Official High School Transcripts. To be official, transcripts must be sent directly from the high school to Indiana State University electronically (preferred) or through postal mail. The Office of Admissions must receive transcripts for submitted applications by June 14, 2024.

Once the application and transcripts have been received, we’ll review for a decision. If admitted to the program, you will receive an email within five to seven business days specifying next steps. Those steps include activating your MyISU portal and registering for your seminar.

The deadline to register for your seminar and pay for the program is June 21, 2024. Payments are only accepted online. The last day for a full refund is June 16, 2024. Our refund schedule is below:

  • Prior to June 16th – 100% refund
  • June 17th – June 30th – 50% refund
  • July 1st or later – no refund

Individual seminars can be canceled due to not meeting the required participants to host the seminar successfully. If this occurs, you will be notified as soon as possible and asked if you would like to select a new seminar. If no other seminar is of interest, a full refund will be given regardless of the date.
