Aviation Careers

Students in the Aviation Careers seminar will experience a wealth of information about the aviation industry and the many possible career opportunities available.  They will hear from guest speakers, participate in an exciting field trip, experience flying an aircraft flight simulator, and will have the opportunity to take an optional flight piloting a Diamond DA-40 aircraft.  Classroom sessions will help students learn about the aviation industry, what it takes to become a pilot; learn about aircraft, airports, regulations, aerodynamics, and weather; and much, much more.  Field trips and guest speakers will give students the opportunity to speak to industry experts and learn about the different tools and equipment of their trades. The Aviation seminar is an exciting experience for high school juniors/seniors wishing to learn about the many different career opportunities available in the aviation industry.
