Aviation Careers

Students in the Aviation seminar will be exposed to a wealth of information about the aviation industry and the many possible career opportunities available.  They will hear from guest speakers, participate in exciting field trips, experience flying an aircraft flight simulator, and will have the opportunity to take an optional flight piloting a Diamond DA-40 aircraft.  Class room sessions will help students learn about the early years of the aviation industry, what it takes to become a pilot; learn about aircraft, airports, regulations, aerodynamics, and weather; and much, much more.  Field trips and guest speakers will give students the opportunity to speak to industry experts and learn about the different tools and equipment of their trades. The Aviation seminar is an exciting experience for high school juniors/seniors wishing to learn about the many different career opportunities available in the aviation industry.
