What do you like most about being an Honors student?

My favorite thing about being an Honors student is the community it provides. In Honors everyone is welcoming and are genuinely amazing people, most of my friends are Honors students and some of the best memories I’ve made are with fellow Honors students.

Leadership and involvement at STATE:

On campus I try to be as involved as possible. I am involved in the Networks Professional Development Program, Student Government Association, Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, and I’m a member of the Real Estate Club. In the spring semester of 23 I served my fraternity as the recruitment officer while also being a senator for SGA, and the marketing chair for the Real Estate Club.

What advice do you have for incoming Honors students?

Meet as many people as you can! When moving into the dorms I didn’t know a single person, so I invested in a door stop to keep my door propped open and that’s how I met some of my best friends on campus.
