Special Note: According to the U.S. Department of Labor, job opportunities for teachers over the next ten years will vary from good to excellent, depending on the locality, grade level, and subject taught. Teachers who are geographically mobile and who obtain licensure in more than one subject should have a distinct advantage in finding a job.
In addition, the University's Elementary Education Program is accredited by the National Council for
Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
