Majors / Pre-Dental Hygiene
The University offers advising—as well as a recommended course of study—for students interested in transferring to a professional dental hygiene program at another university.
Upon admission, each student works with a pre-professional advisor, who helps the student develop a strategy for selecting courses and navigating the application process for the intended dental hygiene program.
For career information, visit the American Dental Hygienists' Association.
The University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
Students have many sources of financial support for their studies, including financial aid, work-study programs, veterans' benefits, and special scholarships for entering freshmen and transfer students.
In addition, a variety of scholarships are available through the College of Arts and Sciences.
