Admissions Requirements

The online Occupational Safety Management Master's Degree Program is open to eligible students in the U.S. (including the District of Columbia and all U.S. territories). The program also is open to students in Canada (all provinces). The program is closed to students residing in countries other than the U.S. and Canada except for U.S. military and State Department personnel and their family members with APO/FPO addresses.

Applicants must meet at least one of the following to satisfy the minimum requirements:

  • Hold a baccalaureate degree in a safety management related field
  • Hold a baccalaureate degree granted by a regionally accredited institution with at least one semester of college-level chemistry and at least one semester of college algebra, trigonometry, or calculus; and
    • Have completed two years of professional work experience within the field (as approved by the department); or
    • Hold personal proficiency recognition via certification
