Admissions Requirements

The online master of science (M.S.) in sport management is open to eligible students in the U.S. (including the District of Columbia and all U.S. territories). The program also is open to students in Canada (all provinces). The program is closed to students residing in countries other than the U.S. and Canada except for U.S. military and State Department personnel and their family members with APO/FPO addresses.

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements:

• A minimum undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or a master's degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00. Consideration will be given to prospective students with a 2.75–3.00 GPA based on seat availability and other credentials (years of experience in the sport industry,etc.)
• Submission of a statement of purpose, resume or CV, and a list of three references. For instructions, see application instructions.
• The GRE (Graduate Record Examination) and GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) are not required.
