Outstanding CPA Exam Performance

Two alumnae of the accounting program, Heather Hollingsworth Tryon and Angela Hemmerlein Till received national and state recognition for their performance on the May 1999 Uniform CPA Examination.  Heather received the highest score in the nation out of 56,000 individuals who took the examination and was awarded the Elijah Watt Sells Gold Medal Award.  Angie received the second highest score out of the 1,160 people taking the examination in Indiana and placed in the top 120 nationally. Indiana State University is proud of these May 1999 School of Business graduates.
