The General Counsel at Indiana State University is the chief legal advisor to the President of the University and the Indiana State University Board of Trustees. The General Counsel is also the official University liaison to the ISU Board of Trustees and Secretary for the University, the official repository of records and documents relating to the business of the ISU Board of Trustees and the ISU Handbook.
The General Counsel oversees certain compliance functions at ISU. These include Legal Affairs, Internal Audit, and Affirmative Action.
