For Distance Learners Who Are U.S. Citizens (or U.S. Permanent Residents)

The transfer application for distance learners is for applicants who wish to transfer from previous institutions to Indiana State University. For a list of distance degrees, visit DegreeLink.
Note to Distance Learners Residing Outside of Indiana: Each state has its own approval process for distance learning in that
state. While ISU endeavors to offer all of its programs to as wide an audience as possible, all ISU distance learning programs may not be available in all states.
Currently ISU cannot offer distance programs in Arkansas, Massachusetts, and Minnesota. For assistance or clarification,

INSTRUCTIONS
Submit application materials to the Office of Admissions (at right). Applicants normally receive a response within two weeks of receipt of all application materials, including:
NOTE: Transferable hours are restricted to courses in which the applicant earned a grade of "C" or higher, and courses at the 100-level (and above) from regionally accredited colleges and universities.
DEADLINES
To ensure full consideration, application materials must be received before the following dates. Early application is encouraged.
Fall semester................... June 1
Spring semester............... December 1
First summer session......... May 1
Second summer session.... July 1
Applications received after these deadlines will be accepted and every attempt made to ensure consideration for the desired semester or term.
UNIVERSITY ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The following are general admission standards for transfer students:

CREDIT EVALUATION
Upon completion of the admission process, including receipt of all transcripts, students will receive (via regular postal service) instructions for activating their Sycamore login on the MyISU Portal—and instructions for accessing their credit evaluation and remaining course requirements at Indiana State University.
