Please submit official or attested academic transcripts from all secondary school and university/post-secondary institutions attended. Secondary documents must include three consecutive years of completed coursework. Your records should also include any courses currently in progress. Please upload documents in the “supplemental materials” link in the online admission application. You might be required to submit additional documentation to ensure full evaluation.
If your school/institution does not provide official academic records in English, your native language academic records must be translated into English by an official translation agency.
We do accept credential evaluation reports from these select members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
The credential evaluation and admission process can take several weeks to complete, and we strongly urge you to begin the process as early as possible. Your application will not be complete until we have received all of your academic credentials.
While we can accept an electronic copy of your academic transcripts to make an admissions decision, once you are admitted you will be required to submit the official or attested academic paper records in order to verify authenticity. An official document is one that has an original institutional seal and/or signature and is usually issued with the letterhead of the institution. These official documents can be submitted by either the applicant or directly by the issuing body. A seal, stamp, or signature of an official must overlap the flap closure of the envelope.
NOTE: All academic and supplemental documents that are submitted to Indiana State University become property of Indiana State University and will not be released.
