driver Education Center

The Department of Applied Health Sciences and College of Nursing, Health and Human Services and the Office of Continuing Education are pleased to offer comprehensive driver education classes for high school students all over the Wabash Valley.

This program was established by Dr. Walter Gray in 1969 with a Highway Safety Grant. Early pioneers at the center included: Stanley Henderson, Horlin Carter, Randall Theil, Bob Ross, and Marty Rebeck.

We are happy to provide you with a combination of classic and state of the art concepts and techniques that blend to provide a unique learning environment for novice traffic safety learners. Our staff plans to facilitate the student and work with the parent to provide a quality instructional environment for all its participants.
