Prerequisites and
Minimum Requirements for Admission
- Admission to the University
- Minimum GPA of 2.7 on a
4.0 scale
- or a 3.0/4.0 on the last 32 hours of work completed
- Completion of 62 credit hours (end of sophomore
year) including the following courses or their
equivalents:
- Chemistry 103/103L
- Chemistry 104/104L
- Communication 101
- English 105 or 107
- Applied Health Sciences 221 with a B- or better
- Applied Health
Sciences 201 may be
substituted if the
grades in Chemistry 103,103L,
104 and 104L are B or
better.
- Applied Health Sciences 226 with a B- or better
- Biology 231, 231L, 241, 241L, 274,
274L
- Chemistry 330, 330L
- Prior learning
experiences cannot provide credit or exemptions from supervised practice
requirements.
- Test out of required Foundational Studies
courses as allowed by the University is permissible
