Advisory Board
Mission and vision
The Board exists to assist and support the faculty, students, and
preceptors of the Coordinated program in Dietetics at Indiana State
University in ensuring an optimal education experience.
The Board serves as advisors who provide strategic direction and
resources for the program. The Board assists in curriculum articulation
and development, students in their professional development and faculty
in maintaining high quality and competitive programs.
objectives and goals considered by the board
- To assist with the development of partnerships with
community agencies, organizations, and corporations to
establish supervised practice experiences and employment
opportunities.
- Review and strengthen the existing supervised
practice component of the program.
- Keep faculty more informed about current issues and
trends in their respective areas of expertise in order
to incorporate these into the curriculum.
- Assist with developing means of marketing and
increasing the diversity of the program.
