On-Campus Event Planning Guide
The following resources will be invaluable to you as you plan your
on-campus programming. If you are working with a sponsoring department
many of the below items may be initiated through that department. This
guide is designed so that your group may have the best experience possible.
Omitting these contacts until you are on campus or just a few days prior
may not guarantee certain opportunities for your group's needs.
Be certain that your university liaison has covered all of the necessary
areas for you. If not, you will need to contact those omitted. It is
also important to note the section on liability insurance. Most groups
are required to provide a certificate of insurance for their programs.
Please check with your ISU liaison to ascertain this requirement.
Let the
Center
for Public Service and Community Engagement plan your event. This
department specializes in planning your event on campus. For a fee they
will make the necessary contacts for you and assist you so that you
have a great experience. Call 237-7900 for more information.

Liability Insurance Coverage:
All external groups using ISU facilities are required to supply a certificate
of insurance for no less than $1,000,000 general liability/general aggregate
coverage naming the "Indiana State University Board of Trustees" as
additional insured for the entire period of the reservation. This must
be turned in to the Risk Management office of Business and Finance.
