Anatomy Workshop: November 3, 2011, 9 am - 12 PM, AMR Gross Anatomy Lab

Dr. David Dominguese, Assistant Professor of Anatomy in the Department of Applied Medicine & Rehabilitation will be conducting health care education workshops for high school students from Fountain/Warner County schools during the fall 2011 and spring 2012 school semesters.  Students will have the opportunity to explore medical science with a focus on anatomy in a different arena and perspective, the gross anatomy lab at Indiana State University.  Students will be exposed to the professions of health care by interacting with health care professionals and by hands on learning of radiology and identification of models for anatomical structures, along with real human specimens.  The goal of the workshops is to introduce students to health care professions and provide real life experiences.

The workshops are funded by the Focus Indiana Health Care Initiative Grant and partnership with WCI-AHEC
