Leamor Kahanov

Dr. Kahanov is a certified athletic trainer with a doctorate in education from the University of San Francisco.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Indiana University, and was awarded a master's degree in Athletic Training from the University of Arizona.  Professor Kahanov currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Applied Medicine and Rehabilitation at Indiana State University.  The ISU Department of Applied Medicine and Rehabilitation currently houses athletic training graduate and undergraduate accredited education programs, physical therapy (DPT) and physician assistant (MPA) programs. Dr. Kahanov has written numerous articles and presented on the topics of athletic training policy, health care administration, lifework balance and assessment and interprofessional education.  Dr. Kahanov currently teaches and has taught health care systems to allied health care professionals for the past 15 years.
