The Indiana State University Field Campus is an outdoor teaching, learning, and research area designed to accommodate educational programs and services. The Field Campus is located on a scenic 93 acre plot of land located approximately 18 miles east of Terre Haute. The campus consists of 8 man made lakes, which are fed through an underground water supply and covers 42 acres, and several acres of wooded area. The campus also includes a team initiative course which helps develop individual and group team-building and leadership skills. In addition, ten platform tents and full-sized classroom facilities make the ISU Field Campus a popular local attraction.
