Biography
Alan R. Barcus graduated from Indiana State Teacher's College in 1960. He received the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2000. Barcus, who spent 30 years of his life composing music and writing lyrics, was a 1999 inductee into the University's Athletics Hall of Fame for being an outstanding athlete. At the time he received the DAA, he was president of Barcus Enterprises, Inc.
