Biography

Ward E. Brown received the Distinguished Alumni Award in 1982. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in 1949 from Indiana State Teachers College. Brown received numerous citations and wide acclaim for his years of service as an athlete, teacher, administrator, and public servant to Indiana's schools. When he received the DAA he was commissioner of the Indiana High School Athletic Association.
