Biography
Since 1949, Robert C. Mardis has served as a teacher and principal in the Vigo County School Corp. Mardis, who graduated from Indiana State Teachers College with a bachelors in 1949 and a masters in 1951, received the Distinguished Alumni Award in 1987. At that time, he was principal of Benjamin Franklin Elementary School in Terre Haute.
