The ISU Department of Art welcomes the beginning of the academic year with MEET YOUR MAKER: Faculty Exhibition 2008. This annual exhibition will feature recent work from the of the Department of Art faculty beginning August 20 through September 5, with a public reception sponsored by M. Mogger's Restaurant & Pub, a local fine dining establishment.   All receptions are open and free to the public, and wheelchair accessible.

MEET YOUR MAKER is representative of the established talents of the ISU Department of Art, offering a rich survey of drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, and video. The exhibition will feature Alma Mary Anderson, Chester Burton, Ray Chen, Glenn Dunlap, Fran Lattanzio, Nancy Nichols-Pethick, Melissa Vandenberg, Bradford Venable, Wanda Wilkey and Sala Wong. The exhibition is a unique opportunity for students and the community to meet the makers at ISU by getting acquainted with their art and good company at the reception.

The University Art Gallery would like to extend a special thanks to M. Mogger's Restaurant & Pub, located at 900 Poplar, between 8th and 9th, for providing hors d' oeuvres at the reception. Their support of cultural events here in Terre Haute greatly appreciated.
