Campus Visit: Juana Bordas
The ISU Foundation and the Center are sponsoring a campus visit by Juana Bordas on February 3, 2010. Juana is the author of Salsa, Soul and Spirit: Leadership for a Multicultural Age and does extensive training/speaking related to servant leadership and multiculturalism. During the day, she will have 3 components to her visit, an open session/luncheon in Dede I, she will meet with a class and meet with the Leadership ISU and Leadership Wabash Valley groups. The topics will be centered around the Basics of Servant-Leadership and we will read Robert Greenleaf’s early books, all in new editions, The Servant As Leader; The Trustee As Servant; and The Institution As Servant. We’ll also read : The Case for Servant-Leadership by Greenleaf Center CEO, Kent Keith. All these books are available for purchase through the Greenleaf Center at http://greenleaf.org/.

The dead line for Registration is October 1. Registration will be $50.00, or $10.00 for students. Your registration will include lunch and a book, the Case for Servant Leadership by Kent M. Keith. Juana Bordas will be coming to ISU!!
The author of Salsa, Soul, and Spirit: Leadership for a Multicultural Age, will be speaking and sharing her thoughts on “new approaches to leadership from Latino, Black, and American Indian Communities.” Watch this site and ISU Global e-mails for details and a schedule. The spring discussion dates will be determined once the date for Ms Bordas’ visit has been set.
