SYCAMORES RANKED IN
LATEST POLL AS PREPARATIONS FOR PRE-NATIONALS CONTINUE
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – ISU’s cross country
teams have moved up in the latest regional rankings as Indiana State
prepares to host Pre-Nationals on October 14. A record 192 teams,
including 89 men and 94 women teams are expected to compete.
In the latest Great Lakes Regional poll, Indiana State’s
women moved into the rankings at the No. 12 spot, while the men
moved up one spot from No. 10 to No. 9.
More than 2,000 athletes will take to the LaVern Gibson Championship
Course on Saturday, October 14 when races begin at 11:00 a.m. with
the Women’s 6k Blue Race. Competition will continue through
the day with starting guns sounding at 11:35 a.m. (Women’s
6k White), 12:10 p.m. (Men’s 8k Blue), 12:50 p.m. (Men’s
8k White), 1:30 p.m. (Women’s 6k Open) and 2:05 p.m. for the
Men’s 8k Open race.
