the true heavyweights along the Sycamore
offensive front, this imposing figure will be a
tough one to handle for Sycamore opponents this
fall.
2005 — Steady
contributor, who played in and started 10
contests for the Sycamores at the right tackle
position ... Key component of an offense that
passed for a school-record 2,906 yards ... Was a
lead blocker for a stable of running backs that
rushed for 1,208 yards during the season.
2004 — Received Gateway
Football Conference All-Newcomer team status
following a campaign in which he started 11
games at right guard ... Was a lead blocker for
an ISU team which set the single-season school
record for passing yards with 2,307 ... The
Sycamores averaged 131 rushing yards and 340.7
yards of total offense per game ... Staugh
blocked for Jake Shields and Sidney Montfort
against Tennessee-Martin as they became the
first tandem to rush for 100 yards in a single
game since 1992.
