2006 Outlook — Fully
recovered from an injury suffered early last
season, Cassell will continue his strong work
ethic in an effort to make plays for the
Sycamores in the future.
2005 — Struggled with
an early injury, then saw limited action with
the scout team later in the season.
2004 — Sat out the season
as a redshirt.
High School — Scott was a
four year letterwinner at West Vigo High School
where the linebacker was a 3A All-Stater his
senior season as well as an All-Region 6
selection ... In previous seasons, he was a 3A
Junior All-State selection ... He received The
Humphrey Award this past year as the Most
Valuable Player in Vigo County ... Named the
most valuable player in 2001, 2002, and 2003.
... Tallied 371 career tackles and 1,700 yards
rushing while scoring 30 touchdowns over his
Viking career ... Cassell also competed in track
and field where he lettered two years.
