Beginning his second season with the Sycamore offensive line and tight ends is Tim McGuire, Jr. He serves the team as a graduate assistant student coach.
Last season, McGuire helped coach tight end Ryan King who had one of the most successful receiving seasons in school history with 38 total catches for 426 yards and three touchdowns.
McGuire spent two seasons as a member of the Sycamore football squad as a member of the offensive line. After redshirting in 1999, he also was a squad member in the 2000 season.
A graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School, McGuire was a three-year letterwinner for the Patriots. As a sophomore, he helped lead the team to the sectional championship while posting a winning record in each of his three seasons on the varsity squad.
A recent graduate of Indiana State, McGuire, Jr., is the son of head coach Tim McGuire.
