ISIAH MARTIN INKS NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT WITH SYCAMORES

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State University head men’s basketball coach Kevin McKenna announced today (May 8) the signing of 6-8, 215 pound Isiah Martin (Chicago, Ill./Morgan Park) to a National Letter of Intent. Martin will join the Sycamore program this fall.

“He’s a 6-8 kid who is versatile, athletic and an inside-out player who really came on this year,” McKenna said. “I think he is a developing player who will fit in well with our style of play.”

Martin averaged 16 points and nine rebounds for Paris Parham’s club as a senior.

“Isiah is long and athletic with a good touch around the basket,” Parham said. “He’s a great all-around kid who will be a joy to watch.”

Martin joins Lamar Lee (Lafayette, IN/Jefferson High School), Aaron Carter (Leopold, Indiana/Perry Central High School), and Jordan Printy (Marion, Iowa/Linn-Marr High School) in signing to join the Sycamores for the 2007-08 season.
