SYCAMORES INK FOUR TO NATIONAL LETTERS OF INTENT

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. Indiana State head women's soccer coach Vernon Croft announced today (Feb. 7) the signing of four student-athletes to national letters of intent. All four will join the Sycamores in the fall.

Below is a complete biography of each student-athlete inked this week:

Shannon Peery
Freshman
Peculiar, Mo./Raymore-Peculiar H.S.

Previous School:
Member of the Kansas State Cup Championship teams from 2001 until 2005 ... Won a total of five Kansas State Cup Championships ... Starter and letter winner for two seasons ... Named team's Most Valuable Offensive Player as both a junior and senior ... Led the team in goals and assists her final two seasons ... Was a first team all-district selection twice ... Named all-conference second team as a junior, while earning first team status as a senior ... Was named Kansas City All-Metro Elite 11 Honorable Mention as a senior .. Member of the Missouri ODP '89 State Team from 2002 until 2004.

Top 10 nationally-ranked team in 2005 and 2006 ... Team won the Kansas State Championship as both a junior and senior, while taking runner-up honors as a sophomore ...
