6, 2007 SYCAMORE SOFTBALL GAME CANCELLED DES MOINES, Iowa – The Indiana State University softball season finale has been cancelled due to poor field conditions. The game originally scheduled for Sunday, May 6 at 1:00 p.m. (ET) cannot be made up. Rain drenched Drake’s Buel Field early in the morning and the surface was deemed unplayable. With the regular
season now complete there has been no official word yet on which
team will advance to the Missouri Valley Conference Softball tournament
as the eighth seed. The teams are tied in the MVC standings, Indiana
State (21-26, 6-16 MVC), Drake (16-36, 6-17 MVC).
