ELIGIBILITY:
All young men and women 12 to 17 years of age who want to become better track and field athletes. 

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT:
Check-in will be Tuesday, June 12th between 10:00 a.m. and Noon in the Hulman Memorial Student Union Commons area. First session begins at 1:30 p.m. Check-out will be Thursday, June 14th following the early afternoon session (approximately 3:00 p.m.) 

RESIDENTIAL/DAY CAMPER FEES:
Resident camper fee  is $265.00. This covers room & board, medical insurance, camp t-shirt, video tape and all instruction. A registration deposit of $100.00 must accompany your application. The balance is due at check-in. Day camper fee is $215.00. This covers noon and evening meal, medical insurance, camp t-shirt, video tape and all instruction. FAMILY DISCOUNT:
This discount applies to resident camper’s only. The first camper will be charged the regular rate, every sibling thereafter will be charged a rate of $215.00. Deposit doesn’t change.

TO ENROLL:
Fill out the enclosed application and return it with your check payable to John McNichols' Hurdle Camp. Detailed camp schedule, parental release form and medical release form will be sent out following receipt of the application. 

TRANSPORTATION:
Hurdlers must provide their own transportation to and from camp.

John McNichols is in his 24th year as head coach of the Indiana State cross country and track programs. Since coming to ISU, McNichols’ teams have won five Men’s Missouri Valley Conference titles and 10 Women’s Conference titles. Indiana State has had 265 individual conference champions and 52 NCAA Division I All-Americans. Among these, talented hurdlers: Aubrey Herring, 2001 NCAA Indoor 60M Hurdle Champion, seven-time All-American and 2000 Olympic Trials Qualifier; Wil Lash, 1997 All American; Chris Lancaster, 1990 NCAA Outdoor 110M Hurdle Champion; Bryan Leturgez, 1986 NCAA Qualifier, 1988 Olympic trials qualifier, and Member of the U.S. 1992, 1994 and 1998 Winter Olympic Teams; and 1990 NCAA qualifier John Martin. 

Coach McNichols is involved year round with track at ISU and with USA T&F. He currently holds the position of national chairman of the Hurdles for the Development Committee of USA T&F. 

John McNichols is an experienced teacher, clinician and camp director and is putting this experience into the organization of his Hurdle Camp.
