Bats of Missouri
by Justin Boyles, John Timpone and Lynn Robbins
Bats
of Missouri was released in September 2009 and offers something for everyone
interested in bats. If you know nothing about Missouri's bats, this book
will give you an introduction to bats in general, pictures and range maps
for the species found in the state and brief overview of their natural
histories. If you are familiar with the state's bats, this book will serve
as a refresher when you have specific questions about species distributions
or morphological characteristics. Further, Missouri's bat fauna contains
nearly every species found in the eastern United States, so this book
contains valuable information for citizens of neighboring states as well as
nearly anyone east of the Mississippi River.
