Third Annual Indiana Bat Festival

Featuring live bat and bird programs, talks by leading bat experts, conservation exhibits, inflatable cave for exploration, activities for children, book authors, bat house information, bat merchandise, an evening barbeque, and bat science night. For more information, please call 812-237-8294.

At ISU Science Building:
Presentations and Kids' Activities (free) 10 am - 5 pm

At Dobbs Park:
Evening Barbecue by Rick's Smokehouse and Grill ($6) 6 pm - 8 pm
Bat Science Night (free) 8 pm - 10 pm

Directions

To Indiana State University:
Indiana State University is located one hour west of Indianapolis. Take I-70 to exit 7 and go north on U.S. 41 about three miles. The University is just past City Hall on the right. Follow the signs to the festival. Presentations will be held at the Science Building.

To Dobbs Park:
Take I-70 to exit 11 and go north on U.S. 46 about two miles. Turn left on Poplar Drive. Dobbs Park will be on your right.
