General
Description
A comprehensive system for collecting and analyzing data on
students' academic skills and behavioral performance is an essential
component of a tiered, or response to intervention, framework. The
assessment system includes:
- general screenings for all students,
- ongoing formative assessment and progress monitoring,
- large-scale assessments, and
- comprehensive evaluations as needed for individual students.
Comprehensive
assessment data are used to inform multiple educational decisions that
are made by educators and families.
