Expectation: Completes ALL 6 "Task for Completion and Discussion" assignments. The learner demonstrates an understanding of the critical roles of vision and hearing in all learning; understands the complex and unique effects of combined vision and hearing losses; recognizes the diversity within the population of learners who are deafblind; recognizes the potential impact of combined hearing and vision losses on personal relationships; and, demonstrates a basic knowledge of available resources for learners who are deafblind. Meets Expectation: Completes four out of six "Task for Completion and Discussion" assignments. The learner can summarize the ideas involved in understanding the critical roles of vision and hearing in all learning; understands the complex and unique effects of combined vision and hearing losses; recognizes the diversity within the population of learners who are deafblind; and, recognizes the potential impact of combined hearing and vision losses on personal relationships. Below Expectation: Completes less than four "Task for Completion and Discussion" assignments. The learner recognizes the critical roles of vision and hearing in all learning; the complex and unique effects of combined vision and hearing losses; and, the diversity within the population of learners who are deafblind. |
