Visual Impairment licensure program lottery process

Qualified applicants to the Program will be placed into a drawing (pool) of prospective candidates based on their employment status. Acceptance into the program will be determined using the following priority order.

ORDER OF ACCEPTANCE INTO THE PROGRAM

1) Qualified applicants who are currently employed by an LEA and are on an Indiana Emergency Permit in the area of blind/low vision

2) Qualified applicants who are currently employed at Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired and are on an Indiana Emergency Permit in the area of blind/low vision

3) Qualified applicants who are currently employed by an LEA and are not on an Indiana Emergency Permit in the area of blind/low vision

4) IHE applicants
