The Promoting Achievement for Students with Sensory Loss (PASS) Project provides professional development opportunities that will improve instructional quality, promote academic achievement, and improve the educational outcomes for students who are deaf, hard of hearing, or deaf-blind. Teachers, educational interpreters, paraprofessionals, related services personnel, administrators, and families are encouraged to attend.
The PASS Project supports two Listservs for professionals that serve students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing – The Deaf/Hard of Hearing Discussion Listserv for Indiana teachers and the Training Listserv for all professionals serving students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
The Promoting Achievement for Students with Sensory Loss (PASS) Project, with funding from the Indiana Department of Education, has established the Indiana Educational Interpreter Mentoring Program to enhance the skills of educational interpreters working in the P-12 setting.
