This module discusses how progress monitoring can affect student learning and how to implement curriculum based measurement with a classroom of students.

Classroom Assessment (Part 2): Evaluating Reading Progress
This module discusses the assessment practices integral to implementation of RTI and strategies for progress monitoring to determine if students are meeting established goals or need more intensive intervention.

Curriculum Based Measurement Modules
This site offers six professional development modules for using Curriculum Based Measurements to monitor student progress.  Module titles: Introduction to CBM for Progress Monitoring, Using CBM for Progress Monitoring in Reading, Using CBM for Progress Monitoring in Math, Using CBM for Progress Monitoring in Written Expression and Spelling, Other Ways to Use CBM Data, and Using CBM to Determine Response to Intervention.  Modules include handouts, manuals, presentations, and training webinars.
