Our students routinely take knowledge they've gained and put it to work on meaningful, life-changing projects, such as:
- Our partnership with Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, where students have acquired necessary training to work as child-life specialists -- healthcare professionals who help children and their parents cope with the challenges of being hospitalized.
- Our biomechanics students conducting research alongside our expert faculty for the U.S. Olympic Committee and the U.S. Track & Field team to adapt training techniques for elite hurdlers.
- Family and consumer science students have tested bakeware from a local manufacturer against competitors¹ products and produced data necessary to secure a patent.
