Prior to attending the Surviving Academic Emergencies, students must read “A Message to Garcia” and answer the questions found below. You MUST PRINT YOUR ANSWERS and bring them to the workshop in order to attend the workshop.         

  1. According to the author, what is wrong with people today that keeps them from being the outstanding person that Rowan was?  Please be specific with character traits and quote from the article.
