OMA Program Awards

 

The OMA program announces the availability of the following awards to be presented during College of Business Honors Day.

 

Students interested in applying for any of the first three awards must complete the application form and submit a one page essay.

 

OMA Award Application

 

No application is needed for the Outstanding Business Statistics Student or Outstanding Operations Management Student awards; winners of these highly selective honors will be determined by the area faculty.

Outstanding OMA Junior Award

  • OMA major; must have completed/be currently enrolled in at least two OMA major classes.
  • Completed 63 to 93 credit hours; will be enrolled during both semesters of the next academic year

Outstanding OMA Minor Award

$100.00

Up to 2
  • OMA minor; must have completed/be currently enrolled in at least one OMA minor course
  • Will not graduate before next December
  • Academic achievement

OMA Senior Achievement Award

Certificate and gift

All who are eligible
  • OMA major
  • Graduation during this calendar year.
  • Overall GPA at least 3.5, OMA major GPA at least 3.5, at least five of eight OMA major courses have been completed.

Outstanding Business Statistics Student Award

  • Any major
  • Must have completed BUS 305 during previous calendar year
  • Excellence in both BUS 205 and 305 is required

Outstanding Operations Management Student Award
