Practical experience is an excellent teacher. As a result, we encourage as much accounting experience as possible.

Students wishing to earn academic credit for an internship must complete a partnership agreement with the company and the department of Accounting, Finance, Insurance & Risk Management prior to enrolling in the internship course.

Internships, out-of-classroom experiences and mentoring from a corporation president are all things April Huey (right) added to her accounting knowledge while at Indiana State.
