The Networks Professional Development Program within the Scott College of Business at Indiana State University will be asking Sycamores "What Would You Do?" at the 12th annual Ethics Conference on March 1 in the Hulman Memorial Student Union.
The 16 juniors in the Networks Program were tasked with planning and marketing the event, acquiring speakers and securing sponsorships from businesses in the Wabash Valley and the surrounding area. Since the beginning of the academic year, they have raised $9,000 from sponsors in order to host the conference.
Students can register for the Ethics Conference at indstate.edu/ethics. Those who pre-register by Feb. 24 and confirm their attendance to the keynote luncheon, will receive a free lunch. The first 200 students to register will get a free T-shirt.
Richard Potts, head of the Smithsonian Institution’s Human Origins Program, will discuss paleoanthropology and environmental effects on human evolution during the first Wittman Speaker Series talk at 4 p.m. in Science Building, room 012 at Indiana State.
