Kimberly H. La Grange |
Kimberly Hendricks La Grange is the Coordinator of the Center for Student Professional Development. She is a 1986 Magna Cum Laude graduate of ISU with degrees in Management and Business Administration. La Grange also earned her Master of Business Administration from ISU in 1993. La Grange is responsible for designing and implementing programs and initiatives to meet the career development needs of College of Business students. She also serves as an instructor in the College. La Grange has over twenty years’ experience as human resource management professional. In addition to her role at Indiana State University, La Grange is the founder and president of Prime Resources, Inc., a human resources consulting and leadership development firm which has been operating since 1997. She currently serves as Indiana State Director of College Relations for the Society for Human Resource Management. |
Rebecca Shorter |
Rebecca Shorter is the Director of Career Development for the Gongaware Center. She is a 2005 graduate of ISU with degrees in Insurance and Risk Management and Finance. Shorter earned her Master of Business Administration from ISU in 2007. Shorter directs initiatives designed to enhance the career preparation of students and augments related industry partnerships in the financial services disciplines supported by the Gongaware Center. Her duties include directing activities related to scholarship programs, student recruiting and mentoring, student activities, career development, internships, and job placement. She has been a licensed associate for Nationwide Insurance since 2004, mainly focusing on personal lines property and casualty insurance, and was an instructor for the College of Business during the summer and fall 2007. |

Stephanie Flora is a student worker in the CSPD. Stephanie is an Accounting major and a Forensic Accounting minor. She is from a small town in southern Indiana called Scipio. Stephanie is a Networks Scholar in the College of Business. She plans to become a Certified Public Accountant after she receives her bachelor’s degree from Indiana State. She just recently studied abroad in Italy. |

Allison Myers is a student worker in the CSPD. Allison is a senior Finance, Financial Services, and Language Studies with a Spanish concentration major with an Economics minor. She is in Networks Professional Development Program, FUEL Bible study, and a Trike and Tandem rider. She has done internships with Defense Finance & Accounting Services (2008) and Global Village for Future Business & Industry Leaders (2009). |

Eden Dillman is a student worker in the CSPD. Eden is a Management major currently, and she is from Mitchell, Indiana. Eden is a Networks Scholar at ISU, a member of ALD Honor Society, an APA for Residential Life, and she is also in the Honors program. |
Kevin Hoover |
Kevin Hoover is a
Graduate Assistant working for the CSPD. He is a
Terre Haute native, and graduated from the
University of Illinois in 2001. He started his
MBA at ISU in January '09 after returning from a
six year stay in China, where he worked as a
musician and business owner. He is available in
the CSPD for assistance with resume review,
mock interviews, and other professional
development issues.
