Curriculum
The Scott College Professional MBA is 36 semester hours based on five areas of study: business tools, integrative seminars, a global experience, special topics, and the culminating experience.
Professional MBA Curriculum
Business Tool Courses:
- MBA 610 Advanced Management Practices (3 hours)
- MBA 612 Quantitative Problem Solving (3 hours)
- MBA 613 Management Accounting (3 hours)
- MBA 614 Management Information Systems (3 hours)
Integrative Seminar Courses
- MBA 621 Managing the Strategic Workforce (3 hours)
- MBA 622 Strategic Financial Decisions (3 hours)
- MBA 623 Strategic Supply Chain and Operating Decisions (3 hours)
- MBA 624 Strategic Marketing Management (3 hours)
Culminating Experience:
- MBA 690 Dynamic Strategy: An Integrated Approach (3 hours)
Special Topics Courses (9 hours)
Three courses on advanced special business topics will also be included in your program of study. These courses may include such contemporary topics as business negotiations, enterprise resource planning, contemporary risk management practices, and special topics in finance [e.g. international, portfolio management, or institutions].
In addition, the Professional MBA includes a Global requirement – where you will have a specialized learning experience to broaden your understanding of the world economy.
