Marylin Wheeler Pendergast was President and Owner of Woodburn Graphics for 23 years.
She loved Terre Haute and dedicated much of her life helping to serve and improve the quality of life her community. She served on the Boards of Directors of Union Hospital Foundation, Sheldon Swope Art Museum, Indiana State University Foundation, Visiting Nurse Association, Family Service Association, Lifeline, Union Hospital, Inc., Merchants National Bank and Leland Country Club of Leland, Michigan and was a founding board member of Volunteer Action Center and Wabash Valley Community Foundation.
She was honored as an Athena Award recipient and Small Business of the Year Award recipient presented by the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce. Marilyn was a graduate of Garfield High School and Indiana University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
Her children include Mary Lynn Hayes and her husband, Michael of Chicago, IL, Donald Curtis Pendergast of Terre Haute, Carol Pendergast Etling and her husband, John of Terre Haute and James W. Pendergast and his wife, Denise of Terre Haute.
