At the Career Opportunity Fairs (COF) employers from various industries and locations across the country are present to recruit students to fill specific full-time job positions, internship and job shadow opportunities, and part-time and summer jobs. While an excellent experience for students seeking internships and full-time employment, attending these fairs is also beneficial for underclassmen, allowing them to make contacts within their career field and to learn what skills they can develop in order to make them most marketable to a future employer. The COF is the perfect chance for students to begin networking with potential employers and practice developing interviewing and job preparation skills.
