Career Counseling/Planning
The Career Center has career counselors available to help you select a major and
career path. We utilize many tools, such as career assessments and career
resources, to guide you through the process.
We can also help with general career planning. Career counselors can offer
advice about the experiences you should be obtaining to help you prepare for a
successful career.
Graduate School Info and Application Help
The Career Center is prepared to help you through the decision and application
process for graduate school. We can help you decide if graduate school is a good
option for your career, which graduate programs are suitable for your interests,
and when would be the best time for you to enter graduate school.
Staff members at the Career Center can help you prepare some of your graduate
school application documents such as your curriculum vitae and personal
statement. If you would like a critique of your application materials, schedule
an appointment with a career counselor and bring a rough draft of your
application materials with you.
Job Search Assistance
The Career Center can assist students and alumni with their job search. Career
Center staff members can show you how to access job listings and recommend other
resources for finding employment. We also can help you learn how to effectively
network with prospective employers.
