Internships
Internships are work-related learning experiences that provide students with the chance to gain important knowledge and skills and explore career interests in a professional setting. The Career Center provides assistance to students seeking internships. Our staff members have built long-lasting relationships with employers that provide great internship opportunities for ISU students. The Career Center also directs the Focus Indiana, Rex Breeden and Job Shadow Internship Scholarship programs. If you are interested in the scholarship programs, click here.
Employers who are seeking interns are encouraged to list their internship opportunities on Sycamore Career Link.
Internships are supervised by a faculty instructor and can be for credit or non-credit. It is the responsibility of the student to locate a host site and faculty instructor for the internship. Career Center staff members can assist the student in locating both.
